Osteoporosis Prevention Social Marketing Campaign
SUMA/Orchard Social Marketing Inc. developed a social marketing campaign
for the Texas Department of Health; Adult Health Division to reach women
aged 45-55 with osteoporosis prevention information. The campaign
included print advertising, radio PSAs, and a media tour in major Texas
markets. SOSM also established a grass roots network of health care
providers and women’s organizations to distribute several hundred
thousand brochures containing customized educational materials to
Caucasian, Asian, African-American, and Hispanic women.
